Colombian Fee Schedule Adoption by Shepherd Care’s Services to Families doing Semi-Independent Direct Adoptions with ICBF Effective date of this fee schedule is
August 20 , 2008. All fees are reviewed periodically and are subject to change without notice. $250 –Consultation and International Adoption Awareness meeting - This fee is submitted with the Adoption by Shepherd Care, Inc. (ASC) preliminary application. This fee includes a personal (or telephone) meeting with ASC’s Colombian Consultant in which our services are explained, and the family is made aware of various issues related to international adoption. $1000 – Review and evaluation of an international adoptive home study and psychological evaluation submitted to Adoption by Shepherd Care, Inc. This fee is submitted with the ASC formal application and the following documents: - Authorization for Release of Confidential Information between agencies

- Colombian Adoption Waiver
- Health Waiver of children
- Colombian Post Adoption Report Agreement
- Florida Adoption Disclosure
- Florida Adoptive Home Application

$800 – Notice of
ASC approval when all required documents by Adoption by Shepherd
Care, Inc. have been received and reviewed, the family is approved by ASC and letters to ICBF are generated
for their dossier. This fee is due before the ICBF letters are apostilled.
This fee includes review & evaluation, notary, apostilles with handling and FedEx fees.
$1200 –
ASC's Representative in Colombia Fee
($600 at Notice of ASC approval; $600 due at referral). For
administrative costs in Colombia including document presentation,
coordination with ICBF, etc.
$2500 –
ASC Administrative Fee ($1500 at Notice of ASC approval;
$1000 due at referral). Includes U.S. operating costs, state
licensing, insurance, accreditation (Hague & COA), etc.

Post Adoption Report (PAR)Review Process

Includes PAR Agreement Letter required before travel to Colombia

Adoption by Shepherd Care’s fees and services stated above do not include
the writing of an international home study nor the required four post
adoption reports. Dossier preparation and translation, immigration and
a lawyer in Colombia are not included in these costs. ASC and its
representative in Colombia can arrange for these services for additional
fees.
For Florida residents: ASC's
fee for an international home study is $2000 plus mileage and travel time.
ASC's fee for post adoption reports is $350 for each of the four required
reports ($1,400 total).
